[MUSIC IN THE DARK] – A UNIQUE NIGHT OF MUSIC WITH THE THEME “TAKE ME BACK TO THE BEGINNING”

SMPAA’s much-loved MUSIC IN THE DARK concert series returns this year with the theme “TAKE ME BACK TO THE BEGINNING”. It promises to be a unique concert focused on the pure beauty of the music with no visual distractions. Each ticket sold will contribute to helping the blind have the opportunity to enjoy the music and share in a remarkable arts experience where sight is not necessary, and listening is everything.

The theme of the recital “TAKE ME BACK TO THE BEGINNING ” is built in a narrative form where music serves to retell each person’s story, and audience members will enjoy the music and relive their own story along with the flow of the music. Being united in the darkness is the key element of this unique concert, and the audience will feel the presence of the group but hear how the music speaks to each audience member differently based on their own life story.
