Music Ensembles Programmes
The Music Ensembles Programmes are group learning experiences for current students who have demonstrated significant artistic growth at SMPAA. Students have the opportunity to apply and improve their musical knowledge and skills. By participating in various ensembles, students are able to build and develop interpersonal skills, organisational and teamwork skills and find outlets for creativity.
The Music Ensembles Programmes include the following groups:

Soul Kids Band
Soul Kids Band is a music ensemble consisting of students from 10 to 14 years old from the drums, guitar, keyboard and vocal departments. Group members together create performances in different styles of music, which helps them develop teamwork skills in rehearsal and performances.
Soul Junior Band
Soul Junior Band is a music ensemble, with students ages 14 and above from drums, guitar, keyboard, and vocal departments. Together they develop and create performances in various music genres, which enhance the individual skills and teamwork. Students are also encouraged to compose their original songs.


SOUL SENIOR BAND
Soul Senior Band is a music ensemble, with students ages 18 and above from drums, guitar, keyboard, and vocal departments. Together they take an active role in developing and creating performances in various music genres, which enhance the individual skills and teamwork. Students are also encouraged to compose their original songs.
Soul Little Choir
Soul Little Choir is an activity for vocal students from 9 to 12 years old. Building on skills learned in vocal classes, students not only can experience singing in a choir setting but also practice concentration and interaction skills that generates a unified sound of the group.


SOUL CHILDREN CHOIR
Soul Children Choir is an activity for vocal students from 6 to 10 years old. Building on skills learned in vocal classes, students not only can experience singing in a choir setting but also practice concentration and interaction skills that generates a unified sound of the group.
Soul Choir
Soul Choir assembles vocal students from the intermediate level at SMPAA. Students will apply skills learned in their vocal classes and improve performance skills in a group setting. The great variety of music genres creates new musical experience for students and provide an additional music activity at SMPAA.


Soul Strings Ensemble
Soul Strings Ensemble, comprised of Intermediate Violin and Cello students, is the representative image of interactive value and creativity in classical music at SMPAA.
SOUL MARCHING BAND
Soul Marching Band is an ensemble for Percussion students of SMPAA. In addition to learning to play together as an ensemble, students also learn to apply skills and techincal skills developed in drums classes in a different context, thus allowing them to feel, understand and control rhythms (a crucial aspect of percussion) more accurately.
